Many times people have asked why we don't adopt domestically. Our answer is this...God chooses different people for different types of adoption. For some, the call to foster children is strong. For others, its children with Down's Syndrome. Yet others just love children from Russia, Eastern Europe, or South America. For us, it just so happens to be Ethiopia.
We're all children of God. We're ALL chosen to care for eachother. We have been called to care for a child and we are ALL orphans of the King. So why does it matter where we adopt from?
If you think there are children here in the U.S. who need adopting, I ask you...When will your domestic adoption journey begin?
